I love journaling. After losing my mother, journaling was a way for me to express my feelings in a healthy way. It allowed me to release my frustration, hurt, and pain. This is where my passion for journaling began.
A couple weeks ago, I found my old journal that I purchased after my mom passed away. As I read my writings I rejoiced! God has brought me so far. I was in so much pain and I was so lost. I'm so glad that I am found! God has transformed my life. As I turned the pages in my journal I came across a letter I wrote to God concerning my husband. It doesn't have a date, but I wrote in this journal between 2011 - 2013.
Here's the letter.....
I want a relationship, but only when you feel it is right. I want someone who loves me and cherishes me and also puts you first. I'm done looking, I'm just going to patiently wait. You are God and you know all, and I know you have someone great in store for me.
Wow! This letter is powerful in so many ways. I probably didn't understand the importance of my words then, but I'm so glad I wrote and declared this concering my future Husband, because I now have the very man I wrote to God about.
